The Football Foundation for Africa is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Impulse Network through a Memorandum of Understanding. This collaboration between The Football Foundation for Africa (FFA) and the Impulse Network marks a significant step towards creating impactful opportunities for young sports leaders.
By collaborating on the cross-promotion of our events – the Impulse Summit 2024 and the Africa Football Business Summit (AFBS) 2024 – we aim to leverage our global networks to drive positive change and create opportunities for young leadership talent. Our collaboration will promote better governance in football and foster a legacy of unity and empowerment within the global sports community.
The Impulse Summit is a remarkable global platform that brings together experts and future sports industry leaders to challenge the status quo in the sports industry. Our CEO, Brian Wesaala, was privileged to speak at the Impulse Summit 2023. During my participation, he observed the underrepresentation of Africans at the event. Motivated to address this gap, Mr Wesaala proposed a partnership with Impulse Network to raise awareness about the Impulse Summit in Africa and encourage young Africans to participate as Global Talents.
This partnership elevates the visibility of the FFA and the Africa Football Business Summit (AFBS) in Europe and Switzerland. It paves the way for African students to attend the Impulse Summit in November at the University of St. Gallen as Global Talents, providing a crucial platform for these students and young African sports leaders to shine. It positions young Africans to play a pivotal role in the global sports arena, complementing their on-field success.
This agreement will bolster the future of both organisations and foster intercontinental collaboration, especially among the next generation at the intersection of sports and business.
