Obama Cup 2020 Workshop Series will feature four(4) workshops in the week leading up to the tournament. Our partners, including Generation Kenya – Soft Skills Training; Emerging Leaders Foundation – Values-based Leadership in Sport; Project Management Institute Kenya Chapter – Skills for Life Introduction to Project Management and Bena Care Kenya – Health and Wellness for Sportspeople will facilitate the co-events. Through the workshops, we aim to improve employability, leadership skills and general well-being of participants.
Project Management Education Education Foundation (PMIEF) is the social-good arm of the Project Management Institute whose focus is to educate and support the youth and Non-governmental organisations with project management skills. PMI Kenya chapter, which is the local representative of PMI, has partnered with FFA to provide Project Management Skills for Life training. The training provides a basic understanding of project management concepts. In plain everyday words explains how a project manager and team can adequately define the project, organise the work, create a plan and work to a successful conclusion. The participants appreciate project management and start to develop the skills necessary to lead and manage successful initiatives.
